Founded on September 10, 2001, Tahari is a label from Arthur S. Levine and Elie Tahari. Levine had been CEO of Bobbie Brooks, and Tahari is a NY based Israeli fashion designer. Elie emigrated to the US in 1971 with less than $100.00 to his name. He is the originator of the 1970s fashion staple, the tube top. The Tahari label launched in 1974 a mere three years later. Levine and Tahari managed to build the business to 200 million dollars in sales within a few years.

Fashions at The RetroFab are second hand vintage, newer, or new with tags. They may have small flaws, which we will endeavor to articulate in the descriptions. We believe in SLOW FASHION around these parts!
