STUNNING Vintage 1980s Victor Costa Size 8 Iridescent Floral Jacket

If Prince were a jacket, this would be it. If Alexis Carrington was going to a New Year’s Eve cocktail party, this is what she’d wear over her gown. All fashions from The RetroFab are gently used vintage, new, or new with tags, and may have small flaws which will be mentioned in the description. We’re all about SLOW FASHION around these parts. Victor Costa “the King of Copycats” made his name in fashion for his meticulous designs meant to evoke the luxury of high fashion European design tailored and priced for the American high end consumer. He designed for first ladies Rosalynn Carter and Lady Bird Johnson. His passion for fashion began in his childhood, when he created paper dolls he sold to friends for 2 cents each and prom dresses created for his classmates. He attended Pratt Institute, University of Houston, and École d'Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in Paris. After working for other fashion houses, Costa opened his own in Houston selling over a million dollars in his first year. He eventually landed at QVC, where he sold over $10,000 between 2000 and 2008.
